Daisy Ridley Has Left Drama ‘Daddio’
News, Film, Music & TV | Written by Mark Newbold
First announced as co-starring way back in 2017, it appears that Daisy Ridley has opted to step away from writer/director Christy Hall’s drama Daddio, co-starring Sean Penn, to be succeeded by Dakota Johnson.
Daisy, who played Rey in the recent Star Wars trilogy, was initially attached to the project back in 2017, but now Johnson is in line to lead alongside Penn.
No reason is given for the change, though given the current state of the world schedule is the most likely answer.
Digital Spy gave some more details on the situation.
